Well, to my surprise I had one of the factory Delco batteries that the factory tightened the Pos cable too tight and cracked the battery case. It lasted 4.4 years. When I removed the battery, I of course found that the acid was dripping out for some time and the battery tray was full of growing acid crap! I cleaned as much as I could with baking soda and water, but wanted to remove the battery tray. I have a 1999 coupe. I found three bolts that were in the bottom of the tray kind of in a triangle hole and removed them but still the try would not come out. Does ANYBODY know how to get the tray out so I can clean under it (and also recover my 5/16 box wrench I dropped under the tray)?
Thanks in advance
