Air con problem
Info req please,
When i press the on switch for the air con, the light on the switch flashes but the air con does not work, i drive on a bit and the air con comes on and then
goes off when it wants. Any ideas!

It is probably in need of recharging or has another fault on the air con system. Check your manual for details.

Assume you have the Dual Zone unit.
The AC will not come on if the outside temp is below 35F-40F. If the outside air temp sensor is reading below this range, what you are seeing is normal - the flashing light means the AC function cannot be activated.
If the outside air temp is actually greater than 40F, but the temp display is lower, then your outside aire temp sensor is bad. I bet the mornings in the UK are "cool" this time of year so I would bet you don't have any problem with your outside sensor and everything is working normal.

Did you ever get your A/C problem corrected? I have a problem with my 99. The outside temp drops tp 34 degrees and shuts off. I have removed the sensor with no change, yet there is 5 volts at the sensor which should be. All codes have been removed but still have the problem. Once it hits 34 degrees, it stays there and in Florida, I need A/C. Would sure appreciate any advice.
