I had the ST3500 which is nearly identical to the SS3600 in permformance and street manners. I also had 3.73 gears, your highway driving will be just like your stock converter once the SS3600 locks up. With 3.73 gears and a SS3600 you will need DRs to get consistent traction out of the hole.
:iagree: I have the SS3600 with 3.42's. Traction is a huge problem on street tires. However, when you can get it to hook .. Hold ON!
As for daily manners.. like it was mentioned above, once the TC locks up at speed it is fine. Off the line in daily driving is somewhat of a pain with the 3.42's but with your 3.73's this should help that situation.
I just switched from a 3000 stall to 3800 with 2.55 str and it rocks about the same for looseness. With 3.73 it would feel tight as Gary's pucker at the Tree! Get a SS 3600 or 3800 you wont be disapointed!
