Headlight motor problem
Okay, I have the dreaded headlight motor noise when my headlights turn off. The motor just keeps spinning. I have read all the previous posts and it seems like no one has actually fixed it themselves? In all these years surely someone has come up with a solution? Please let me know so I have some idea of what I am looking for when I take the motor apart. I know I can order the brass gear, just not convinced that is what it is yet. People keep saying about a limit switch or something.

Pull the unit apart, you will see if it's the gear or not. :yesnod: Click the electrical link and then Corvette. Rodney explains everything.
