Default How extreme can i go?

I want to get the cartek stage 2x package for my car but can not afford heads now. With my stock heads is it possible and safe to run the cam they use for that package and then later on getting the heads. Or is there another cam I should look for? Also what is a typical install price for getting a cam installed and tuned? Thanks.

You are prolly better off getting another cam if you are going to keep your stock unported heads.

:iagree:

Your stock valvetrain will not be able to support the lift of the X-Cam. Give Dave at Cartek a call. He'll probrably give you a few options that work good with a stock setup. :steering:
