Horrible smell...clutch?
Tried to get on it...wheels not hooking up/spinning but rather a bad burning smell. Am I screwed? The car still goes and shifts OK but I don't think I want to try to launch her. Is my clutch on the way out...car has 25k easy miles. Also, is it robbing me of power? Please...any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

my 99 vert with the stock clutch and 32000 miles on it does the same thing but only if I try to powershift it. It will launch ok and if i lug it in 5th or 6th and gun it it wont slip. Trying to powershift though the motor just runs away from the clutch and it smells real bad, scary bad. I've heard this is pretty common with stock clutches.
