Dimpiling dash pad 03 convert
Not a serious problem yet but I have noticed a few dimples on the frt dash where it rises up to the defroster vent outlet.Real obvious while sitting in the drivers sear or looking through the windsheld looking down on the dash.Could be normal wrinkles from the rise in the dash near the defroster outlet. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. Hate the thoughts of replacing the pad under warrenty and have someone(who could be one of my ex students) replacing my dash pad for nothing. : :eek: Thanks for all the help.

Yup! I've got the same problem on my '03. I hate the thought of taking mine back to the dealer for anything. :skep:

This must be a problem with the supplier and 2003's, My friend just bought a new 2003 Z-06 with the same problem. I think at the price for replacement your gona have to let the dealer do it. I know thats a scary thought. I repaired my own headlight motor, but that only cost me about $6.

Thank goodness mine is okay. I would hate to go to the dealer with that problem. I'm sure the response would be what dimple or wrinkle. All corvettes are engineered that way. Or they could suggest that you fix it with a hammer. Thats what they came up with on the panel behind the seats.
Darn I thought I was finished complaining about that panel. Oh well i guess i just needed to vent a little more. Maybe some one from GM will read this and hand their head in shame for even suggesting such a stupid fix. :rant: :_dupe: :_dupe: :_dupe:
