Default 427" Dyno numbers

This is in our 03 EBZ06

Our combo consists of:
Lunati 4.00" crank
Wiseco 4.125" pistons
Lunati 6.125" rods
Dry sleeved aluminum block
RGR stage 3 heads 2.05/1.60 valves
Custom Comp grind
Spec stage 3X clutch
Stainless Works 1 3/4" headers w/OR
Stock Z06 catback
Stock(unported)LS6 intake
Speed Inc ported throttle body
Blackwing
SLP bellows

Through full exhaust
503.9RWHP/492.9RWTQ
Open headers
520.2RWHP/492.4RWTQ

It runs on 93 octane, and I have been getting over 25MPG on the highway. Peak power is at only 6200, so it doesnt have to be revved sky-high.

We will be testing the Kooks 1 7/8" headers,as well as the LSX intake, and hopefully it will get us in the 530-540 range through the stock exhaust.

Good to see you posting on this forum. The 427 sounds like a beast

Can't wait to see results from a set of Kooks and the FAST intake.

-stock 3.42 Gears
-12.5:1 compression, but we run on 93 octane with 26* of timing with ZERO knock. We run tight quench, so we get away with some compression on 93 octane.
-I definatly feel the LSX intake and Kooks 1 7/8" will be worth considerable HP. The motor peaks at 6100 and stays over 500HP until 6800, seems like it needs more air.

I get over 25MPG on the highway too.

Nice numbers! I guess my 418 isn't doing to bad at 518 RWHP and 505 RWFTs through 3.90 gears and 11.25 compression.I would be real interested in seeing the motor with 1 7/8" headers.

I saw that new intake at SEMA last week and it looks pretty clean. Looks like a power maker.......if they can get it on the market!

Wow thats crazy. Mines aint a hydraulic but my 388 put down 477 on its first pull with the dfi 7. With tuning im hoping for near 500 or so. Thats mighty impressive for an easily driveable car !
