Guys I did a cam swap a while back, at the same time I changed my bad Oil temp sensor behind the intake. So I put the new one on. It ran great for two days :cuss .
Now it bounces all over the place from Zero pressure to 129 sometimes. What can it be? Do you think the new cam is the cause? Thanks
it's a bad oil pressure sending unit. I've had to replace mine twice. the first one worked for a week and then crapped out on me so I replaced it again. no big whup.

Are talking about the one behind the intake right?
Oh and the process if it is difficult to replace is no if you are mechanically incline. Just need to take the LS1 or LS6 intake off.

I'm not mechanically inclined. I had my mechanic buddy do it and it took him about 20 minutes. it's impossible to reach without doing what he said--remove the intake.
How hard is it to take off the intake? Any hoses or cables? Or is it just making sure to put a new gasket?
Its not hard take a look at JMX website. I used his tutorial to do my cam swap. . The intake part is cake.
Just make sure you have some good needle nose pliers incase the vacuum lines come loose and sometimes impossible to do by hand. Those are behine the intake and can be trouble sometimes. www.ls1howto.com
You don't need a gasket at all when you take the intake off.
Ya I know.. LOL. It basically says "take out the sensor, and put the new one in".
It does... ????It gives step by step instructions with pictures It give pictures of location what the sensor looks like ,part number etc. it gives torque specs, and heads up on vacuum line placement.. what more do you want LOL??
I guess I can "Laugh Out Loud" at you too, cause my 14 year old son could do this job...
:boxing You're right.. I didn't mean it that way. I'm just not a really good mechanic, so reading the info provided it was a bit intimidating. Sorry to offend you.
