Install 3.90 Gear Box

Need a little help here. I live in a small town in Alabama about 90 miles West of Atlanta, GA and 60 miles East of Birmingham, AL. Just bought a new 3.90 gear box with a harden output shaft and I need a good shop that knows what there doing to install it. I don't trust our local chevy dealer at all. We all know why on that one. Would like a shop were I can take my 03 Z06 in and have it installed and wait for it. I understand it is only a 3-4 hour install job for those that know what their doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you would be willing to drive to the North side of Atlanta then I know an awsome vette/camaro shop that does these on a daily basis. Lamar Walden Automotive 770-449-0315 ask for Rob, tell him Dave Thompson sent you. They have done several things for me and numerous others on this forum. These guys are awsome and stand behind their work completely. They also have one of the best tuners in the Southeast, Tom Garland (nevrenuf) here on the forum.

:iagree: I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. Rob put in my 4.10's and did an excellent job. Tom does their tuning and is the resident LS1 Edit guru. Great guys all. :cheers:

Thanks guys, I'll give him a call Monday and see what they can do. Do you have an address or city where there located?

What's the average install cost to have the gear case setup installed?

Thanks Patches, that's kinda what I tought. Going to contact Rob in the morning. My biggest problem is getting time off from work. Been working millions of hours overtime lately. Maybe during the holidays or on a Saturday.
