Can A C5 USE A Z06'S ALIGNMENT?
I have a 2000FRC that I changed the suspension over to a 04 Z06 (04 shocks, swaybars, & rear spring). Has anyone had their car realigned using the Z06 specs? I don't know if the control arms and geometry are different. If you did was it an inprovement?

About a year or so ago everyone who lowered on this forum and had a re-alinement asked this same question, I believe the answer is yes you can use Zo6 specs. Maybe someone will chime in and correct me if I am wrong.

What are the Z06 specs by the way, I am getting an alingment done soon. I am adding -1degree camber up front and -.5 in the rear. Good or bad, any thoughts. I autocross once a month and drive alot of twisties hard. Plan on getting new tires every 18 months or so.

To answer your question YES the C5 coupe, FRC and vert can use the C5 Z06 alignment specs.
I was last aligned using the Z06 specs to take advantage of the Z06 F1 Supercar tires I have on the car.
If I am not mistaken there is actually a negative .75 Camber involved here but the exact specs escape my brain at the moment.
Any alignment shop would be able to identify the Z06 specs.

Front Individual Toe: +0.04 degree +/- 0.10 degree
Front Sum Toe: +0.08 degree +/- 0.20 degree
Front Individual Caster: +6.9 degree +/- 0.50 degree
Front Cross Caster: within +/- 0.25 degree
Front Individual Camber: -0.70 degree +/-0.50 degree
Front Cross Camber: within +/-0.25 degree
Rear Individual Toe: -0.01 degree +/- 0.10 degree
Rear Sum Toe: -0.02 degree +/- 0.20 degree
Rear Individual Camber: -0.68 degree +/- 0.50 degree

The alignment specs are the same for the Z06 as the coupe and vert exept the Z06 uses a little more negative camber.
You will not know if you have the extra camber unless you ask the tech to do it.
Example: .75 degrees negative camber would be within specs of a Z06 and a coupe.

It´s OK with non run flats. As far as I read on this forum, using Z06 specs with runflats will wear them faster on the inside.
