Default New Sponsor Kook's Custom Headers

Hey Guys, Just wanted to let everyone know that Kook's has climbed aboard as sponsors. My name is Nick Filippides and represent Kook's. My daily duties are to handle sales and tech questions. As most of you may have heard, Kook's now offers headers and exhaust systems for C5's. Available in 1-3/4 and 1-7/8 primaries both with 3" scavenger spiked collectors. Kook's uses high quality 304 stainless with 3/8 thick hand ported flanges. Ground clearance and overall fit is outstanding. Primaries are as close to equal length as you can get. Our exhaust systems come in different configurations, feature X-crossovers and can be purchased with or without high-flow stainless cats from Magnaflow. No welding is required unless you purchase the headers alone in which case we supply header hook-ups that'll even allow you to use your stock cats.
Our overwhelming success in the LS1 F-body scene (along with a 100 plus phone calls from C5 owners) prompted us to develop C5 headers. Our goal is to offer headers to suit every combination. One thing we learned many years ago, one size does not fit all when it comes to headers. Normally aspirated, nitrous or blower applications, we know we have you covered. Please feel free to call me toll free at 866-586-5665 or email me at nick@kookscustomheaders if you have specific questions. Thanks Nick "Kook's Headers"

VETTEC5,

The headers are full length 1 7/8" long tube design all the way to the 3" collector.

Pricing is posted on our website for the full on road version with high flow cats.

For the price, you get a choice of 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" long tube stainless steel headers flanged, high flow cats that bolt up to the headers and a x-pipe, so they are a complete stainless bolt-on package with no welding required.

Kooks headers are simply awesome! You have to see them in person to believe it.

The Top Picture does not do them justice. In person, they look sweet. I also think the Catless version with the 3" X-Pipe to 2 1/2" Center Section that bolts to the Catback (what I am waiting for) looks even nicer than the section with high flow cats, mine will be similar to LG's.

2001 Red Coupe Bandit,

We also offer the off-road set-up, but we figured that most guys would want to go with the high flow cats and stay as street legal as possible.

I do know what you mean as these headers are awesome both in looks, quality and performance.

Those look great... and a great pice too. Hmmm... decisions decisions. Will these provide the torque gains of the LGM LTs?

Why would we want to stay legal? That is so boring. I am interested in price without cats.

I saw a set before and after they were installed on the Bandits car, I am considering selling my TPIS headers and getting the Kooks. They look awesome and the welding was first rate.

When my TPIS are sold or wornout, I will get some kooks headers!

tblazec5,

At this time, there are no true long tube equal length headers that are CARB certified.

Thanks!
