C5 Mechanic Needed
I'm on my 3rd C5, all 3 leaked at the left diff. "O' ring. I have a new 03 six speed and i'd like to find a recomended Dealer within 100 miles of Huntsville, Alabama. We have a big dealer here ( Bill Heard ) but I just can't trust them.
There should be someone on the list that has a relationship in the B'ham area.

(Bill Heard). NO, NO. Sorry you aren't closer to Houston or I could give you the name of a GREAT corvette certified mechanic who, BTW, is honest. Good luck in your search. :yesnod:

No recommendations on dealers, but whatever dealer repairs your corvette make sure they use the new part number 88996703 (new output shaft oil seal) and diff side o-ring cover seal PN#89047953. Some Dealers do not stock this seal yet, so make sure they order this seal for you before the repair!!
