Anyone have this happen?
About three weeks ago a code started popping up P0327 knock sensor. Every time I would get on it I'd get a bunch of timing retard. So I started asking around to find out what people thought it was. Well I was getting all kinds of answers, carbon on the piston, piston slap, exhaust rattle,my U/D pulley is bad, and the list could go on. :confused: None of these made me to happy. Well on a prayer I ordered two new knock sensors. Since the intake has to come off I had to order the LS6 intake. ( I hate to put a wrench to her without making more HP) :D I dove in, got the intake off and saw that the front plug for the knock sensor was off and the hole had an inch of water, almost covering the sensor. Well I put the new sensors in and put it back together and hoped the I solved the problem. Took her out for a run and no more code. :thumbs: I guess the water made the sensor more sensitive. Anybody ever hear of this happening before or am I the lucky first one?
