this isn't John's 10.40 run from a few weeks back. We all went down to Edgewater (Cincinnati) on Saturday, and I caught John's 10.55 run on video :jester

Is that really the fastest NA vette? Weird, I would have thought it'd have been mid 9s or something. I know the fastest NA f-body was a high 9 at least a year ago or so. Maybe the fastest stock displacement vette?

Re: vette00 Video (Dope)
Yeah, his car has gone 10.41 and 130mph+ and that's the fastest N/A et/time so far for either a stock displacement and big cubed N/A C5 that has been documented on this forum so far!!!!!  The bar will be raised in the not to distant future i am sure as these C5 times keep on getting faster and faster especially with new technology about to break open asap with the new LSX intakes, etc. which should really allow the big cubed motors to start to breath and perform the way that they are capable of performing :smash:

I had a 1.49 60' on that pass, I dont remember the 1/8 mile times. I run a Vig 4000 stall converter with3.73 gears. My best run todate was 1.434 60' 6.637 1/8 ET 102.54 1/8 MPH 10.404 1/4 ET 131.18 MPH. Thanks John.
Hey Vette OO Thank's You really got one hell of a 60' and a great running car. That 3.73 sure got you out of the hole FAST ! I just got a little 3.42 and a yank 3600 and feeling a little babbyesh ! The 1/8 really helped me judge where I''m at . Thank's and best wishes !
