Perfomance Chips
Does anyone have experience with Diablosport or Jet performance chips, or am I in the stone age, and no one uses them any more. :confused: [IMG][/IMG] :confused: [IMG][/IMG] :confused:

I personally wouldn't use them unless you had an automatic to firm up the shift points. I have had them before and have seen no major hp gains that the manufactures claim. Save your money for some engine or exhaust mods.

i dropped .13 in 1/4 mile on my o2 a4 w/stock 3.15 gears.i like the way it firms up the shifts plus change fan setings and rpm shifts.ran lean after blackwing and was able to add fuel with it

I have heard a lot of these performance programs are paired with a lower temp thermostat, 160 etc. This richens the fuel mixture. Most of these are desinged to work in conjunction with other modifications made to you car. Seems like A4 would benefit more than MN6 cars. Most gains are only realized at WOT. A dyno would be needed to really dial the tune in. If I were looking at one of these, I would look at Hypertech. :smash:
