I have this in my car. Dont buy it from there thoough. there is a guy on ebay who is selling them for much less. Its nice because it comes with everything, so its like three mods at once. Its kind of a pain to install, but its ok. In my opinion all the intake on the market are very similar in gains. Just as long as you get rid of stock you are ok. Its a good bank for the buck product,.
If you don't want an open ram air system, may I suggest a Donaldson Blackwing. It is the best quality and highest free-flowing filter you can get, and It will last the lifetime of your car if taken care of. Also, for about $50 more buy a smooth coupler for the airbridge to throttle body. BTW, I don't buy what the claim says --- "adds a dyno-proven 15-16 rear wheel horsepower by pulling cold air from outside your engine compartment through a completely sealed air intake box." --- The cones are in the same area as your stock box and there is no sealed box in the picture. The Donaldson is a top breather and offers the best protection to hydrolocking of any aftermarket filter IMHO.
I don't like the design - twin filters on a short runner like this will cause turbulence as the air enters the MAF (not a good thing), on a top breather I would prefer a single filter element like the Halltech T1, Blackwing or Vortex.
It is not a CAI, inlet temps will be similar to stock, though possibly a bit lower due to the volume of air moving.
