Default Decarb tech question

I'm getting ready to do the Decarb procedure with the GM Top Engine cleaner eand had 1 question. (Sorry about the simplicity but I'm not much of a mechanic.) The hose that I'm pulling off(runs into the passenger side of the car) - is THAT the section (hose) I stick the funnel in and then the fluid? The other end looks like a completely horizontal, plastic fitting which I'm guessing is the pcv valve, which I do nothing with. Is this the correct procedure?

I'm not sure what hose you're describing, but there's an easy way to make sure you've got the right one. The hose you pour the stuff into should have a very strong vacuum when the car is at idle. If it doesn't, you've got the wrong hose. If it does, you're good to go.
