Low Oil Level - DIC message question

Low Oil Level - DIC message question
DIC message - Low Oil Level came on. Added one quart of oil and checked the dip stick ... sure looked good to me. The message went out for about five minutes while I drove it home, but came back on when I turned the car off. Any experience with this?

Mine complains about that constantly...I let the car sit for a few mins (~5) and restarted the car and it went away. If that doesn't work I'd consult the manuals.

I think it replays any messages you got while driving when you turn off the car just to make sure you see them - next time you turn it on if the oil level is good you shouldn't see it again.
Then again, I could be wrong, this is just conjecture on my part based on what my car has done. I'd check the oil level again just to be sure. :)

When mine did this, I added the oil then pressed reset. Message did not reappear until it was low again. (Had the excessive oil consumption problem)
