Re: Problems with powershifting a SPEC Stg 3 clutch? (rfgoss1)
Guys I have had these exact same problems before and its always been the hydraulics and not the clutch itself. Its worth trying a new adjustable master since the labor on that is not very intensive.

No probs power shifting except I think my slave and maybe the master have seen better days as I get the somewhat sticking down syndrone but will be putting the new spec III+ clutch in the stroker, mine is the first generation and has not slipped in over 2 years though there is a little clatter when cold and I am starting off or backing up slowly---

I have the McLeod adjustable in there now. Did you modify anything else? Lengthen anything? I don't think this thing is completely disengaging the motor. It will lurch when I have the clutch in and really rev the motor. Its been bled and adjusted twice. I am about out of gas on clutches.

My RAM clutch lasted almost 11 months and countless passes at the strip.
The SPec Stage 3 lasted about 1000 miles and 10 passes at the strip.
It is junk. Spec is telling me that I must not have broken it in properly.
