Difference between 98 - 99 owner's manual?
I just purchased my first Vette. (Happy me!) It is a 98 coupe and came with
a 99 owner's manual. Is there a difference - should I track down the 98 one? :steering: Thanks. I'm enjoying this forum.

Yes...The 99 has heads up option...the 98 does not.
There is a GM web site where you can download your owners manual in PDF for free but I lost the link.........
Maybe some one could chime in and post it to this thread.

So if I don't have "Heads Up display" it doesn't make a difference?

Just for additional info, there are also differences in the electrical schematics in the service manuals too. Don't even attempt to use the 98 schematics on a 99 car.

There is a lot of similarity but there are also enough differences that you would be better off with the correct manual. Another difference is in the fuel system. You'll see two fuel lines on the '98 and one on the '99. :cheers:
