as far as the stock bolts would allow without cutting the bushings. I followed the instructions on the tech tips section and it did not take long to do. I did not see an appreciable difference even after driving it for a few miles. I'm wondering how long it will take for it to settle as far as it will go. Also, how long should I wait before taking it in for a re-alignment?
Thanks in advance for your input.
BTW, I just purchased the silver aluminum floor jack from Harbor Freight in Fort Lauderdale for $129. I looked at their web site before driving over and it listed for $139. It's a very nice jack, low profile and very light.
I lowered mine using stock bolts and did not cut the bushings....you can see in the pics there was a difference....I drove the car about 300 miles before getting an alignment....I went last week to the Harbor Freight store in Lauderdale and bought two of the the jacks....funny thing is the first one they charged me $139 and the next day they charged me $129.
Drive at least 50 miles and check. I drove 100 then aligned. Make sure you are satisfied and don't want it lower before alignment. Bought same jack at Harbour in Detroit for $126.

The ride's a bit stiffer, but the car feels tighter and steering seems more responsive. I'm definitely liking it more than the pre-lowered ride. After putting a few more miles on it today (no railroad tracks), I can now see the difference in how the car sits. I've also noticed that the air dam scrapes more as I'm pulling out of the driveway. A small price to pay, given the aesthetic and ride improvement.
