I have a98 vette and after you program the fob it works just one time then its out again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love this site. It rocks  Thanks Tate
Mine did the same thing, battery was going dead. Need to install a new battery then do a complete reprogram of all fobs (not just pressing lock & unlock). That cured my problem. :D
For whatever reason, I had a somewhat similar problem even after changing the battery. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. Knock on wood, but then it started working 100% of the time.
I've changed the battery and it helped, mine seems to get where I almost have to be on the hood of the car before it responds and lately it won't pop the hatch, it seems like the one I have for my tahoe has lasted for years with no probs, so to sum up mine is a pos as well---
In general the problem is the FOB and it needs to be replaced. Ebay typically has them for $35 - $40. The clasic FOB failure is to work one time after reprogramming then the security portion of the FOB doesn't work the next time.
Thanks Guys :seeya I have replaced thebattery and it is still wrong :mad I guess I will have to buy a new fob. Thanks for all of the help.Tate :steering:
