I have a question...how can you tell if you have the 97-98 or 99+ inj.?
For me it is simple. My car is a 99, GM changed the injectors to 26lb in 99 only, and my injectors were never changed. But you are right in that it IS an assumption. And you can never be sure what the meaning of IS is, can you?

I would think a part # would start with a certain # for different years or something like that. Does anyone know?
