from what I've heard/read, as long as you stay close to the overall diameter, the wheel size is inconsequential. so if you're getting larger wheels you need to get lower profile tires.
I use to run 265/35's and 315/30's on 18x9.5" and 18x10.5" chrome Y2K's. I now run the same tires on 18x10 and 18x12 HRE's. I may sell my current set up, and go up to a 19/20" set up.
Go Bigger... you don't want to buy wheels and rubber twice like I did. 18's look nice in your driveway. But as soon as you see a 19 & 20 go by you on the road, its back to the wheel shop.
Check my sig...I'm finally happy with the 19"/20" setup... oh yeah...no problems with the setup
No problems. You can run 18x9.5 on the front and 18x10.5 or 18x11s on the rear. 265/35/18 or 275/35/18 tires for front, 295/35/18s for the rear.
I also like the 18/19 package, but 19s on the rear hurt performance just slightly because of the taller wheel/tire combination. I have run the 18/18 combo for years now. Either combo is good.
