Decarb done, new questions...


1: Blew out the cleaner w/ about 20 minutes of idiling mixed w/ revving to 3 grand til it stopped smoking, then took it for a drive w/ several decent accelerations. But, I still can smell the cleaner in the car, coming from the enginecompartment and can sense a faint odor still in the exhaust. Did I get it all out of there?
2:I can still hear a light tapping like the CSK coming from the engine. Is this a side-effect of the process, the best that the process will due, or did I screw something up? If it's minor, will it eventually lessen or do I still have to live with it?
I have yet to do an oil change (will get to it before the car is driven anywhere else) and the tapping/knocking seemed reduced from before. I also noticed a hint more get-up and go (maybe my imagination) on the drive.
This may be over-the-top, but it seemed my idle was a tad rougher than normal. Granted, next on my list are new NGK plugs (hope to install them tomorrow or Fri :thumbs: ) so maybe the switch will fix it. Anyway, I'd appreciate any input y'all can offer. Thanks :cheers:
