TB bypass mod on Ebay?

Is this bogus or is it as advertised?
Does the coolant use the TB as a heatsink and will this mod cause elevated coolant temps? Anyone tried it or something similar?

you can make a bypass from a 1/8th double ended bayonet nipple, cost 1.20. and two stainless steel mini clamps at 40 cents each from home depot.. total cost of theis mod is 2.00 dollars...and thats about all its worth,,,2.00 dollars as a real mod..
