Stock size is 1.7 . Hp increase is between 10-20 rwhp depnding on mods. BTW the actual new size is 1.85. Which set you went for ? I went with the Comp Cams 1.85 Kit.

The Comp set is what I'm looking at but I would like to see some kind of proof as to the gains before shelling out for them. :cheers:

I don't have any Dyno Pics but the ratio increase is guaranteed to give you more power. Your are increasing lift hence power goes up. I have read in LS1/LS6 Performance Modififcation by Chris Endres that this particular mod ( However, he used SLP's ) produced 20 hp he even put dyno pics. Too bad I have no scanner. I'll try & take a photo then post here.

On the dyno, I got 8 hp 10 tq... on my fully bolt on LS-1 car.
Expected more, or double that.
NO STOP feel or ET at ALL!
Unless you're doing it for a little strength, with stock cam, I say its a total waste of time & money.
Please listen to me, because I didn't listen to all the others who told me not to do it.
The SLP rockers, springs, titanium retainers cost me $700 & another $500 for the install & dyno after.
I completely WASTED $1,200.00.
I have written to SLP, but so far no reply.
Anyway, my advice... DON'T DO IT! :nono:

I'd do it if it would gain 15hp/10tq but less than that and I'll wait for another mod.
