Do you guys have any pics of the system? What type of clamps are used to join everything together? Are they slip fit, V band or what? Is all the hardware stainless as well? Are they as easy to install as the other major brands(LGM's, FLP's, TPIS) Sorry for all the questions, but I was planning to purchase a set of headers this week and I thought I had made my choice. Now this pops up, and the price as well as your name backing them has my curiousity. Could you please send me some more info or post it to this thread. Not a big deal to install. You don't have to fight with o2 sensors & they will not RUB the frame like some of the other brands.

Do the CATs come welded to the X Pipe?, or would I as the intstaller have to weld them?

By the way are those pics of otherwise stock exaust? those straight pipes just behind the X-pipe look like a prime candidate for cutouts! :thumbs: Is this the configuration from the factory?

 

"Merge" Collectors??

 

On a mostly stock engine, would the larger 1 7/8 size be un-necessary?

 

I have heard that 1 7/8 is too much for an otherwise stock cubes engine just what I have heard I am by no means an expert though.

 

1 7/8 is too big for a stock engine. 1 3/4 will work best for a mostly stock engine

 

VD....how big is the off-road X pipe....2 1/2 or 3 in???? I have TPIS headers and I was wondering if the off road X pipe and center section exhaust would fit on my TPIS headers. I want to get rid of my 2 1/2 in off road X pipe and center section exhaust and replace it with a full 3 in off road x pipe and exhaust that your offering, IF IT WORKS. if you guys want pm me with the details. or ill call the shop

 

They have a 2.5" AND a 3" off road pipe.

If you plan to run a 3" catback though, make sure you tell them that. The normal 3" pipe reduces down to 2.5" at the end where it meets the catback.

 

The X pipe comes in 2 1/2 or 3' But it will not bolt up to TPIS headers it will only work with KOOKS headers.

 

Just got off the phone with the Vette Doctors. I ordered a set of the 1 3/4 with the cats. I will show more pics and a report when they come in. Man I love buying car parts...LOL :D
