did it get twisted and then jam in the return?? If so I had mine replaced at dealer for free right after I got my car for that kinda thing....if you do get it free it may have grease on it :nonod:
As the others stated, there is a recall for the belts. My passenger side used to twist and stick a lot; had to stress to my wife that you couldn't just unclick and let it go even though it's like that on every other car.
It is possible to get it out, it's just annoying, uncomfortable, and time consuming. Grab hold of the belt clip and pull; release just enough to allow a partial uptake by the internal reel of the slack; pull again; release just enough . . .; repeat forever, gaining an inch or two with every iteration. You can eventually get it the whole way out; under NO circumstances think "Hey, it's almost all the way out, surely I can release it now and it will be all fixed" as you will be very, very, wrong and will cause all the neighbors to forever cross the street to the other side when walking near your house as the streams of obscenity you let loose will convince them you are a madman. Should you make that mistake (not that it ever happened to me  ) just start over. Prior to the recall I did this a number of times, once in the cold just as we were about to leave on a 1K mile trip (the first hundred or so miles were mighty quiet in that cockpit, too). Good luck!
