I use Porterfield's, and I take the car to the track (road courses). http://www.porterfield-brakes.com, and I think they are great. They run around $90 per rotor.
i just got a set of drilled and slotted from touring-classics.com these are the same that gm sells in their performance catalog. they were 340.00 delivered to my door!!!! check the price of these elsewhere.... very nice product....found these guys on ebay... very good to deal with
Part number 56700 - 56703 .
$18.32 and $18.72 each.
Also available from NAPA at about $23.00 each under part 86700 - 86703.
I used them all season at the track and they are still in great shape. They are Raybestos professional grade. IMO you can pay a LOT more for a rotor but I don't think you can get a much better rotor than this.
In my opinion your brakes are one of the most important safety components on your car. People spend thousands to make their car go fast but forget or decide that the brakes aren't that big of an issue.
Take it for what it is worth but I wouldn't skimp when it came to my brakes.

It's my opinion, after running the $19.00 Raybestos professional rotors for entire summer with lots of track time, that they are equal to or exceed the Corvette OEM rotors made in Brazil. The Raybestos are made in the U.S.A. at an ISO 9002 plant. I don't think that is skimping.
