Wheel Tubbing
It seems as though the pics for the process in the tech tips aren's available. If someone has saved them can you please email them to me as I will be doing this work this weekend.
I haven't been impressed with the additional traction, but adding 2+" to the width of the rear tires certainly looks good. If you're doing iit for the performance alone, get a set of drag radials instead. Lots cheaper and better grip too.
In this process it looks like he used old wells, slide them over and reglassed. Is this correct? Also what size tire can be ran after, would it be better for a tire with more side wall like 17 or 18'S so one could run lower presure.
Sorry for all the questions new to this tubbing and tire thing, I have little traction now with 18 235 yokahamas, and Iam currently installing ati suspect this will be my very next mod.
Thanks for any info
This site is Great.

Re: Wheel Tubbing (esram)
esram,
This is in preparation for a new forged motor/ATI system that is being built. I'll be installing some 345/30/19's on 12" Iforged aero's.
01C5fan,
I'm disappointed to hear that traction didn't improve very much. :( Unfortunately, I plan on needing all the help that I can get and drag radials weren't an option since I am mostly turning corners. Hopefully this mod will be worth the effort but if it isn't, then at least it'll be visually impressive. :)
