Brake problem - turn rotors?
When I apply the brakes, it feels like the rotors are unevenly worn or warped. You know the feeling, the brakes catch and release, and the car lunges. It's hard to describe, but after driving older vehicles for 23 years, I recognize the problem as the rotors. Any reason not to have the rotors turned? BTW it's a 98 with about 67000 miles. Looks like original tires on it. I bought it in May 03.

Nothing wrong with turning, just be sure the person doing the work has experience and cuts just enough to smooth out the high spots and the thickness is within specs. Sid.
