No? They're one of the best (if not THE best) automatic transmission builders/rebuilders for racing/high power vehicle applications in the country. Their 4L60Es (as well as their TH350s etc.) can take a lot of abuse. :yesnod:

Re: Anyone run a Rossler trans??? (ALLTHROTTLE&NOBOTTLE)
SLAMMED:
THey have a great repuation but are VERY PRICEY and in my opinoin FLP is just as good if not better and can get you set up for about 50% cheaper, not to mention you are close to FLP and that makes it alot easier if there are any problems and staying local makes big sense for initial install, delivery, tuning, etc., etc.I just picked up my LEVEL V tranny from CHUCK for my 427 C5R (4L65E most recent and best upgrades) and so far it feels GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROSSLER will cost you close to 5K by the time its installed and tuned and that's just INSANE!!!!!!

Talked to Carl Rossler last week and he said $2600.00 for his top of the line stage-III trans. Normal rebuild stage-1 costs $1200.00. Hope this helps..
Just for information I would call and see what it would cost to have a trans built for your RWH Vette.

Yeah, that sounds about right but the problem is by the time you provide him a core or remove your own tranny as a core, figure in shipping costs, taxes, install (and removal of your tranny as a core, etc.) and tuning, you can add another $2,000 to that cost. :banghead: FOr this reason, since SLAMMED VETTE is local to FLP, he will save at least $1,500 to $2,000 by dropping his vette off at FLP and let them work their magic with rebuild, tuning and install, etc. Don't get me wrong, ROSSLER puts out a great tranny (product), but if your not local the total package ( the big picture) GETS VERY EXPENSIVE quickly!!!!!
