Anyone have any info on how this setup compares to the Wolfe Race craft bars.

Did you see the photo of the vert.

Oops, sorry, I posted the wrong link. The Wolfe's are also weld in too, here is the link for those

I did see the picture of the Vert above and it kinda scared me as the rear hoop appears to be a bit too far forward. I have been told by many top fabricators that the placement of those bars should be placed as close as possible to the cars existing "B" pillars to increase the integrity of the overall structure. Also, it concerns me about the possiblity helmet / roll bar contact based on the placement of the rear hoop. Is the placement of the ECS's hoop done so to afford better rear visability? Comments???
Can you describe how the quality, craftmanship and design are superior to others on the market (assuming all weld in)
Here are some install photos Wolfe has on their website.
Are these ECS roll bars chomoly or mild steel?
Thoughts.
Thank you
Joe
Also with the wolfe weld-in, all you get is the pieces of the rollbar and they all have to be welded together and then welded to the frame so there will be a bigger install charge with that compared to the bolt in one.
Z-u-later stated these are weld in units and it appears you say they are bolt in.
Which are they?
Many local guys have had the Wolfe bars installed and they came welded to plates that are bolted in areas where there is no frame to weld to as in this photo. http://www.wolferacecraft.com/images...e/c5cage41.jpg
BTW, I really prefer and have to have a weld in, and I really should have a full cage legal past 9.99 with the combo I have.
Does ECS have a web site??
Thanks again for the info
Joe

Guess the issue is why the ECS unit would be better like I asked above in a previous post than the Wolfe's??

..................................Call Chris at ECS 609-752-0321..................................
He will be glad to answer all your questions and set the appointment up for your install while the Group Purchase is still running.
That should be a great ride from illinois to nj enjoy it..
The Hardware used (pins, hinges for the swingouts ect) are all top notch. If you've ever struggled getting a pin in and out of a swingout while bolted in while in a 5pt & firesuit you will certianly appreciate the attention to detail we put into our bars.
Dont get me wrong The Wolfe bars are nice. We've done plenty of them. But, There is no comparrison to having one custom bent for your car.
Here's a couple of Pics of Redgars Wolfe we put in his car about a year ago
Edgars bar came out very nice but it did take some massaging to get it there... renotch a bar here, a little trimming of the main hoop ect. It wasnt slaped in the car and hit with the welder by any means.
ECS website is http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.com I'm currently building a new site that goes into much greater detail about the roll bars and engine packages that should be up in the next couple of months, but feel free to ask any questions you might have. Or feel free to call the shop and talk to Chris @ 609-752-0321.
BTW... I should have those pics of some of the FRC and Coupe bars we have done in the past later today. If anyone has some pics of bars we have done in your car, please post em or email them too me at mike@eastcoastsupercharging.com
