Battery Tender Neg Clip?
Are you guys connecting your negative alligator clip to the engine block or to the negative on the battery? I am using the battery tender plus and just attached mine to the block as a ground.

Both my pos and neg battery tender cables are hard wired to the battery with a quick-disconnect for the battery tender 3 feet from the terminals. I just plug the tender into the quick-disconnect and walk away..

Well the next time I reattach it I will just put it on the battery a little more covienient and easier to get a ground. Thanks For The Response.

I attach mine to that metal tab that sticks up off the water pump.
The reason it's not recommended to attach to the negative battery terminal is because that connection can cause a spark. If there is any battery gas leakage it could cause an explosion. You can probably get through an entire life-time without that happening. But it only takes once.... :cheers:
