Direct Hits Ignition... Pretty cool!
The install is just about as easy as changing the plugs. My idle is smoother (it used to shake the car every now and then when idling) and there's more power (on my test drives, it spun the tires through all of second, which didn't used to happen.) Feels snappier. On the highway it seemed to handle 6th gear and low rpm's better. Can't speak for gas mileage yet. Makes me wish that I had measured the difference on a dyno.
Honestly, it made more of a difference than I was expecting. On a supercharged or nitrous car, I'd have expected as much, by my Z is stock except for the Vararam, headers, random cats and GHL's. This leads me to believe that the denso's and stock wires weren't up to snuff.
But whatever the reasons, I'm pleased as punch. :steering:
