I talked to FAST on Tuesday, they said the first 500 units should be shipped around the second week of Jan.
I would think if you are going to spend the money, get the biggest one you can, the engine will only use what it needs, and it leaves room for additional upgrades.
I would agree with you. The FAST intake will no doubt be hurt by the new GM intake manifold and larger throttlebody. As slow as GM is to incorporate new technology, FAST, in this case was slower. The LS1/LS6 C5 Corvette has been out since 1997 and it appears that the window of opportunity is closing. Maybe they should have done a lot less hyping and more heads down work toi get the product to market earlier. :nopity
The new LS2 supposedly makes around 400 hp. If a larger TB & improved manifold are responsible for some of that 45 hp gain vs. 355 of current LS1. Anyone know what other changes were made ? Cam shaft ? Heads ?

When they came out with the ls6 manifold it only gave about 5rwhp on modded motor and virtually nothing on the stock ls1, why would anyone think they have some super manifold now--I thought someone posted that the c6 had a new multiple valve head that was primarily responsible for the increase in power and a 10.9 CR and I'm sure a more appropriate cam for the setup, I hope everyone is right but I have my doubts about a new super GM intake manifold though they certainly have the resources to produce one--It's interesting that they have a 90mm TB now I havn't heard that before, so hopefully they will treat us to some new stuff-
