Kooks headers 1 7/8

Anyone try using these yet? Do they fit well? Next mod will be an ATI. Is this to big for my mods? Thanks for any info.

I have a 98 LS1 with an ATI @ 7lbs boost and Carmen of the vette doctors recommended I stay with the 1 3/4 primary tubes since most of your driving is not boosted.
I agree with that since the main function of headers is to scavange out the exhaust and make the engine more efficient. The larger dia. reduces this at part throttle. ;)

I installed the 1 3/4 since i have a mostly stock car and they are great. I did the install myself, at home in a couple of days, everything went great. There are a few things you need to do when you install like disconnect motor mounts, remove oils filter, jack up motor etc..
