Car threw a new one tonight. I was cruising around and she started missing and hesitating real bad. Then started backfiring a little. Give me some guesses please.
Just some more info incase it helps - I have recently modified the airbox, descreened the MAF and we just installed an LS6 intake two nights ago.
Thanks for any help.
Travis
I would be willing to bet that car is getting too much air and that the mass air flow sensor cannot correct for it. What happens when you put the airbox back on?
I had a buddy with the same problem with his ZO6, after reinstalling the airbox lid, the codes went away.
Re: P0175 - Fuel trim system rich....??? (nitrosuzie)
When I installed my headers I needed to replace the plugs...not too sure why, none of the plugs appear to be damaged..it was missing and sputtering as well
P0175 is Fuel Trim System Rich Bank 2. Bank 2 is the passenger side of the engine and since it is only that bank that is rich, you can probably rule out the airbox and MAF as problems with them would cause P0172 to set as well as P0175. Problems with the LS6 intake would most likely result in a lean condition.
The most likely causes are leaking injectors and/or a bad right front O2 sensor.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking about the airbox. Besides it didn't throw the code until after the intake. The airbox had already been removed for a while. I'll check the injectors. If not then I'll probably start looking for new O2's.
