Driving over some rough road this last weekend. The ABS and the TC light lit up on the dash, dic said to service soon. Pulled the codes and only thing on was traction code 1234. Anyone have an idea what this is. Obviously gotta take it in as it won't clear and the dummy lights stay on. Thanks for the help in advance, doug
builtfspd2, thanks for the info and link. I did try and clear it, but I did that while driving...when I get home, I will have to try and clear it at a stand-still while still in the garage, forgot sometimes you have to clear stuff that way. Definately worth the try, if not it will still have to go in, thanks for the info and jogging my memory of clearing while car is off. Have a good one, doug
I have a 2001 coupe, hopefully the codes are the same for 00 and 01
let me know how it works out. i was lucky, after i went over the train tracks, the road i was on is an industrial area. I pulled over, shut car off, went through the diagnostic test, cleared codes and went on my way. i went over the tracks a little faster than i should have.
While shut off, I went through the diagnostic, got the codes and the 1234 was a 'hard' code, wouldn't clear. Even did it twice to make sure, so had to take it in  Fortunately I have the extended warranty, so it will only cost me my deductable...they said it was pretty common for the wheel speed sensors to go, so hopefully I'll get it back soon...thanks for all the help guys!
