steering rack question
I recently took out the steering rack to put on my underdrive pulley. However to get the rack out the side I had to remove an approximately 2" cap with a spring under it and it had a jam nut on the outside. Is this adjustable, because when the magnasteer tightens up the steering is very stiff? I did not know if I should back off the spring or if it was the slower power steering pump making it so stiff. Sitting still the steering is just fine.
