Clutch question
Recentlly...temps in dallas, tx dropped below 30 degree. When the car cold...the clutch pedal travel like about 2 inches and back to normal when the car get hot. What's the problem and what need to be done?

I have seen other threads on this and they suggest bleeding the system before it gets so bad that the pedal stays on the floor. Hope this helps. Also the consensus around here is to change the fluid every two years max.

I replace the clutch fluid just about every month to help prevent these types of problems. I don't bleed the whole system as this is way too labor intensive for a monthly choir. I just extract the fluid in the reservoir and pour in clean fluid. It really doesn't take long for the stuff to turn black again. Then I repeat the procedure. I do the same for the brakes as well.
