Default nut size

I'm trying to remove the rotor from the rear of my 02 coupe, to replace a stud. Does anyone know what size the nut is that holds the rotors on. This is the one on the spindle. Don't know if it's metric are what. Thanks for your help. :yesnod:

Once you remove the wheels and brakes the rotor comes right off. There are no nuts holding the rotor in place. Might be some rust but, nothing more.

on a few of the studs, mine had those thin retainer clip like things that were just threaded on.. pliers pulled them right off.

The only nuts holding the rotors on are the lug nuts. As mentioned there are some spring retainers , they can mess up after market wheel installs, pop the retainers off with the tool of your choice and the rotors are free. PS I am glad you were not asking about the nuts on the DIC.

Maybe i worded the original question incorrect. I got the rotor off, but what is the size of the nut that holds the stud plate to the spindle. This is the drivers side, the one with the emergency brake. I have to remove the nut , in order to remove the plate. I can't get a stud in or out with the emergency brake in place. It's either a 1 5/16" or a 34mm. I need to go out and buy the correct one. Thanks for the input. Oh yeah, nobody had a stud, so i ended up at the damn dealer. After i bought the stud. i asked them the nut size for the spindle, and they said they didn't know. Oh well Thanks again GARY
