Any harness can be removed. The mount determines this. You will need clip-on mounts that bolt to the floor and the harness bar. They are about $5 each.
I have hardbar's harness bar that I use to attach the shoulder belts. It goes in easy, 10-15 minutes or so. You can move your old belts to the harness bar as well if you are going to leave it in permantely. But you will still need to attached the lap belts and crouch belt somehow. I bought a crouch belt bar that mounts in the front for that and I built my own bar in the back that I clip on the belts to holes that I put in the metal plate. They go easily in and out and don't move around while racing.
Here is what you need for a complete set up. http://www.r-dracing.com
C5 Coupe / FRC / Z06 CROSS-BAR w/Camera mount
C4/C5 Fire Extinguisher/Center Strap (5th Mount point)
C4/C5 Lap Belt Mounting Kit
That will give you all the mounting hardware for the 5 point harness. I really like the R_D Racing harness bar as it is very strong and has solid steel straps that give you additional anchor points on the back bottom seat mounts. A real cost effective design. make sure you mention the Corvette Forum for the best price. ($300.00 for the bar)
Many forum vendors carry the Brey Krause setup, I know the guys at Xtreme
sell the BK http://www.xmsengineering.com/ they are awesome to deal with, call and talk to Mike or check them out on the web.
I suggest that you reposition your shoulder belts to go around the BIG bar and not the small diameter positioning bracket. Those small dia brackets are there to keep the shoulder belts in the correct position, not to attach the shoulder belts to them. That small dia bracket would never withstand the force put on it by a frontal collision.
I have the first BK bar ever made, and my shoulder belts were put on by the BK people, so I have first hand knowledge about this.

It may be a good idea to delete that picture so nobody mistakes it as
the way to mount a harness.
