gutting pre-CAT's ?
How much performance does gutting the preCAT's help? I know this is a subjective question. Obviously if I remove the both it would be the best but I dont want to go to that extreme, just yet :)

Don't bother..It's not even worth the trouble. :nono: If your gonna do anything ..lose all 4 cats and replace with the RANDOM TECH bullet cats and your good to go..Just my opinion of course:D

gutting pre-cats does more for sound quality improvement than it does for performance.
There is a reason Chevrolet didn't want them on the Z06; but the most noticeable improvement on a non-Z06 will be a deeper sounding exhaust note.
