OK, assume 500RWHP, a new Spec Stage III clutch, and DTE 3.90 gears with a hardened output shaft. What kind of stuff will I break after that with hard launches?
Do you have the stiffer trans mount and torque tube coupler? If you're runnung BFG Dr's, and hook, you'll take 2 teeth off the ring gear. Done it twice, Was told to get the new ET streets (17") and take the slack/windup out of the rear end. Check with Phil at Dyno-Tech Engineering in Fort Wayne IN. I'll let him tell you about his new system.

Don't have those toys yet. Thanks for the tip, will talk to Phil. God, this Corvette modding thing really gets expensive eh?
This thread will get more exposure here, but I put it in FI because I have a blower setup that I want to get to 500RWHP which may have different requirements than going cubes with H/C or just plain nitrous. Since my power doesn't come on in the low RPM range the suggestions on what parts to put on the car may be different than other setups.
Nonetheless, since the thread is here now, knowing that I'm blown, what else would you put on to make this car reliable? Phil at DTE suggested that the stage II setup may not be enough for 500RWHP and that I should look at his stage III setup.
