My clutch has been doing the sticking thing for quite some time now. I bought a baster and have been changing out the hydralics reservoir for a while.
Lately the clutch itself has been feeling a little more soft then usual. I am thinking it is about time for the clutch to be changed. I plan on getting new heads here soon as well, and know the clutch wont handle the new power.
Thinking about a SPEC II/III and of course I will need the master and slave.
Where have most of you been getting yours?
Is your clutch softer throughout the travel or does it have play at the top of the travel. Mine has play at the top, but goes away when the car warms up.
I was just about to post a question about mine, when I saw yours.
Sorry no help here maybe some can enlighten both of us.
I had that problem with my 85 vette I used to have. I got in it and the clutch pedal went straight to the floor with no resistance. It turned out to be a leaking master cylinder. I found evidence that it was leaking by looking and feeling around the clutch pedal. I found fluid on the pedal. I got a new master cylinder and that still didn't solve the softness problem. It turned out the clutch system got air in it and just needed to be bled out. You may have air in yours, have you tried bleeding it out?
