Default oil pressure sensor replacement

I thought about doing this myself and biught the parts (sensor, gasket) but after reading how to do it in the manual, I think I will let someone else do it.
Is this something that I should let someone else look at or am I just being paranoid. I think its just more of a job than I want to tackle. Has anyone had this done and know a ball park figure of the cost?

It really is no big deal and you'll end up paying ~$150 to the dealer to do it. It shouldn't take you more than 1.5-2 hours to do if you take your time.

Save your money, learn a little about your engine and have a little fun with it.

Here's a link to a Tech Tip on it.

Replacing Oil Pressure Sensor

Here's where it's located on the engine. No, you don't have to strip the engine down this far to get to it. This was when I was doing heads/cam.

The tech tip doesnt say anything about draining the coolant, is that required, or is it just a simple unbolt and slide forward?

No need to drain the coolant. If you're worried about the TB coolant tubes, they may dribble a bit. Just pinch them off or put a towel beneath them to catch the minor spillage.
