Default Exhuast set up, your opinion please

Hey,

I plan on adding headers with my X-pipe and leaving the stock mufflers. What should I expect from this set up??and would an aftermarket exhuast really make that much difference??
Remember I have the Titanium exhuast on a ZO6, so I wonder about spending more on an aftermarket exhuast when I figure I already paid extra for this one

there probably wouldnt be any Hp gains, just an aftermarket exhaust like Borla, GHL, B & B Bullets, would be louder than the TI exhaust. So if you want a louder exhaust then go aftermarket, if not stick with the TI.

Hope you are enjoying the nice weather here in GA. Anyways, I have the LGM Headers and off road pipe. Definately notice a big difference in power and sound. I have no quanitative data to pass on, however there is definately a seat of the pants difference. I picked up power all the way around. Especially down low.

I would also recommend new mufflers as well. I have consistantly seen 8-10 RWHP by just swapping out the mufflers. My Stingers may be a bit loud for some but I have always had cars that are a bit louder. I am definately glad that I went with the set up that I have. If you change your exhaust, you may initally be frustrated by the "loudness" but I am sure you will come to like enjoy it quickly. Hope this helps.

THanks, So to break it down how much gain from the Headers and X-pipe alone? and then how much more with stingers????

But I don't know if I can take the noise for a road trip, around town great but say 6 hours??? I figure the headers would make it louder alone, this true??
